Here's a recipe for a vinaigrette I made up two days ago, and which
tasted much better then I'd expected:
Recipe: Sweet chive/dill vinaigrette
Ingredients:
-1 tsp of soft brown sugar
-a bit of salt
-some freshly grinded black pepper
-1 tbsp of olive oil
-2 tbsp of (wal)nut oil
-fresh chive (don't use too little of this)
-dill (dried)
-1 tbsp of tarragon vinegar (I haven't tried it with another kind
of vinegar - yet...)
Mix the sugar, salt, pepper, dill (about three or four tea spoons),
and the vinegar. Keep stirring it untill the sugar is completely
dissolved.
Then add, spoon by spoon, both oils. Finally, add the fresh chive
(cut into litte bits). Put in at least 1 table spoon of chive, as
this is what gives the vinaigrettes its sweet & fresh taste.
Greetings,
Bjorn.
